Medical Programme in Kyiv
We support a humanitarian medical programme for elderly Jews and righteous gentiles in Kyiv. The medical programme supports 50 very elderly and infirm residents who were unable to seek refuge in safer countries. We employ a doctor and a bookkeeper.
Prescriptions are filled at a local pharmacy and the delivery of medications and all the other work is done by volunteers.
Without your and our constant help in donating towards the £15,000 that we try to raise each year, this programme could not carry on and 50 very elderly and sick people would have nowhere else to turn.
Professor Felix Levitas, President of the B’nai B’rith Kyiv Lodge, together with his wife, oversees the running of the medical aid project.

Donate to the BBUK Ukraine Crisis Appeal
Following suspension in March 2022, this programme has now resumed under emergency conditions. Your help is invaluable in helping us to continue to support very elderly and sick people unable to escape the conflict. Even the smallest donation can help us to provide essential aid.
