Together Against Antisemitism — National Solidarity Rally

Report by Jeremy Havardi

Several members of B’nai B’rith UK joined the protest rally against antisemitism that was held on Sunday 8 December in Parliament Square. An estimated three thousand people attended and heard speeches from such luminaries as barrister Richard Rinder, actress Tracey Ann Oberman and historian Tom Holland. There were also speeches from Trupti Patel, a representative of the Hindu community, and Fiyaz Mughal from ‘Muslims against antisemitism.’ The overwhelming message was that Britain was a tolerant nation which needed to confront the menace of antisemitism, especially coming from within the Labour Party.
