BBUK join the AJEX Ceremony and Parade

For the very first time members of B’nai B’rith participated in the AJEX Ceremony and Parade, marching under the banner of B’nai B’rith UK.

For the very first time members of B’nai B’rith participated in the AJEX Ceremony and Parade, marching under the banner of B’nai B’rith UK.
We were proud to be part of this show of respect and remembrance for the fallen, made in solidarity with representatives of the whole Anglo Jewish community.
Nineteen members, walking with pride to the Cenotaph, for the wreath laying and the uplifting service conducted by the Chief Rabbi.

 

Spotlight  on Jack Mann

Jack Mann, a former member of Jerusalem Lodge and now a National member, was at the Cenotaph on 11/11/2018 in the first contingent “Special Forces”. He also attended the Remembrance ceremonies at Westminster Abbey and the AJEX day at his local synagogue as he has done every year.

During the Second World War, Jack was part of a team that carried out special missions in the Middle East, Greece and Italy.
