BBUK and BBLBIA are shocked and appalled by terrorist attack

Report by Jeremy Havardi

B’nai B’rith UK, together with it’s advocacy arm, the London Bureau, is deeply shocked and appalled by the horrific terrorist attacks that took place on Easter Sunday in Sri Lanka. Nearly 300 people are believed to have been killed by an Islamist group that was intent on attacking western and Christian peoples without mercy. Our thoughts are with all those who have perished and with the victims’ families. Such attacks remind us that blind and intolerant hatred, left unchecked, is lethal to any civilised society and we hope that the perpetrators are swiftly brought to justice. B’nai B’rith will always stand with those who believe in freedom, tolerance and justice.
