BBYP and SJW YJN (Young Jewish Network) joined forces for a Private View of the Amy Winehouse exhibition at the Jewish Museum in Camden on Wednesday 6th September.

Over 30 Young Professionals enjoyed a night at the museum as they had the building to themselves for a buffet supper followed by the chance to view the Amy Winehouse exhibition at their own pace.

The personal and intimate exhibition, co-curated by Amy’s brother Alex and sister-in-law Riva, returns to the museum (originally staged in 2013) following an international tour. The exhibition features a selection of Amy’s childhood photos with family and friends as well as some of her clothes, shoes, retro furniture pieces, record collection and other personal items.

It tells the story of the woman behind the famous voice; her school days and time at the Sylvia Young Theatre School and subsequent rise to fame.

Upon arrival, the guests enjoyed a selection of cocktails and wine, a buffet dinner of sushi, goujons, sabiche, crudités, quiche, salmon skewers, followed by fruit, brownies and sweet cakes for dessert.
